Bracketed Image Capture for HDR
Posted by Khürt WilliamsKhürt WilliamsKhürt Williams has not set their biography yetUser is currently offlineUsing the Raspbian “wheezy” Linux and gphoto2 I plan control my Nikon D40 for exposure bracketing of images for use in HDR photography.
I already have gphoto2 installed. My Nikon D40 is plugged into the RPi via a mini-USB to USB cable. I have my RPi up and running and I can communicate with the D40 via gphoto2 and capture images.
Next steps are to write a script to:
- Get current aperture and exposure values from D40.
- Compute brackets
- Issue capture commands in sequence.
